Hello God.
Hello Edward.
I’m working on the chapter for the book and feeling like I could use some input from you.
Great. How can I help?
Well, is there one point that you want me to convey with this piece?
Yes.
And what would that be.
Love the journey. Love the battles. Enjoy the path.
What about the idea that as evolutionary warriors we are evolving you?
It’s a good point, but it’s a bit big to cover in this piece.
How about this whole chaos bit that is coming up?
Again, wonderful to explore, but not in this piece.

Ok. So what I’m hearing you say, is that I don’t need to add these big, complex themes into the piece, but rather stick with the story and the idea that evolutionary warriors enjoy the journey.
That sounds like a great premise for a chapter in a book.
Ok. I’m on it. Although I may be back for more input.
I’m here.
Thanks.
You’re welcome.
Hello again God.
Hello Edward.
So, I realize that what I really want to get across in this piece is the idea that becoming an evolutionary warrior does not mean you have to live a life of asceticism and self-denial. You don’t have to fast and live on the fringe. You don’t have to sacrifice the comforts and joys of life. In fact, I believe that the purpose of the new evolutionary warriors is to engage in a more active expression of joy in this life. Do you get what I’m saying?
I do.
And what do you think?
I love it.
So is this something that I can focus on in this piece?
Yes.
Does it mean that I have to rewrite it again?
No.
But I don’t see how to tie it in with the story about my inner battle. How could I do that?
You’re weaving teachings into the story.
Yes.
You can choose to weave many different teachings. They do not have to be the teachings you have chosen to focus upon.
But the story seems to be so clearly about anger and controlling it, and the blindness that inflicts those who have not yet stepped onto the path of the evolutionary warrior. I’m frustrated God. I don’t know where to go with this.
You do indeed know where to go with this. You’re just allowing your inner adversary to cloud your mind in this moment. Let go of the need for perfection. Let go of the need for this piece to answer all the questions. Remember, you are on the path of personal evolution and if you find all the answers now, what will there be left to do?
Share those answers with others.
But you’re missing the point, Edward. The sharing comes from the journey. Do you think the Buddha or the Christ stopped learning and evolving when they were teaching? Do you think they had “finished” their evolution when they began teaching?
No.
Of course not. Part of the evolutionary process was tied up in the teaching. They had to teach in order to continue to evolve. You’ve written it in this very piece, you need friction in order to evolve. This friction you are feeling is perfect. Enjoy it. Bask in it. Be grateful for it. And find the place of joy within you. Find the place of perfection. Find the place of peace. Walk your talk. You know that the external world is not the only world for you to be focused on. You know that as an evolutionary warrior your task is to also remain focused on your inner world and the battles that occur there. You are facing such a battle in this moment. How do you plan to respond? You can defend, attack, retreat, call for reinforcements. The choice is yours. But claim it. Claim your right to choose.
Thank you.
You’re welcome.
